If you’re looking for the place to party like you’ve seen in the movies, this is where you need to go

If you’re looking for the wild side of Phi Phi’s nightlife, head straight for the east side of Loh Dalum beach. After dark, this shore lights up with the sights and sounds that make the island’s party scene so famous. Because this strip is almost exclusively for the night owls, you won’t find much open during the day. But it’s one of the best places to watch the sun go down, and once it does, the party lights go up. There’s not just one place to get wild on this strip. Late-night thrill seekers can party the night away at a handful of outrageous beach clubs. Slinky Bar, Apache, Blanco and Stones specialize in getting freaky. Black light paint, wild fire shows and limbo contests characterize these beach side bars. Loud beats penetrate through the air, competing with one another on state of the art sound systems. During the high season, you’ll find this strip packed with enthusiastic party-goers. Scantily-clad dancers indulge in free shots and cheap buckets, body paint lighting up the night as the crowd moves in unison. Because even the most voracious party animals can use some down time, there’s the Moonlight Beach Bar. A selection of beanbag loungers are the perfect place to chill as down-tempo electronic music plays. The PP Beach Bar offers tables to sit down at and a rustic, fairy lit ambiance. Contrary to popular belief, Phi Phi’s party scene isn’t an all-night affair. Because many of these wild establishments also offer hostel accommodation, the music usually shuts down around two am. So catch the sunset, grab a bucket and get ready to get wild on Loh Dalum beach!
