Salt Water Hot Springs
Located outside Krabi town in Klong Thom district, The Salt Water Hot Springs are a unique natural site to visit. It is a place where the brackish mangrove waters mis with underground sulfurous waters emanating from underground vents releasing hot mineral rich water.
The park is built up by a varied number of pools, each offering a different temperature of water for guests to enjoy themselves in. So pick what temperature works for you and relax.
There are some small concession stands on site so you can stock up on simple snacks if you didn’t bring any yourself. There is also. Local Thai restaurant next to the main park area which serves a variety of local Thai food, so you don’t need to bring anything at all to make it a full day of fun.
In addition to the hot water pools, the park also features a concrete footpath taking you throughout the mangrove forests which surround the parks exterior, so if you get tired of the water and watch to stretch your legs, by all means get going and do so!
One thing to note is that these pools are in the sun, meaning there is no shade around them, so at midday it can get rather hot, we recommend visiting either early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid this trouble, or simply just bring a small umbrella to keep you protected.
The park does charge an entrance fee of 90thb/person so bring some cash with you.
