How to get around the many islands of Krabi

Cascading limestone mountains overlooking white sandy beaches, Ao Nang, also known as Ao Phra Nang (Princess bay), is one of Krabi’s prime tourist destinations. Originally a small fishing village, it is comprised of exciting, upbeat nightlife, plentiful in superb restaurants, abundant in teeming stalls and crystal blue water on the shore. Catching a ferry from this little piece of paradise is a truly enjoyable experience and visiting some of the many islands of Krabi can be as easy as a simple trip to the pier.

Ao Nang Nopparat Thara Pier, which can be found at the end of Nopparat Thara road, is quiant yet functional with ferries, long tail boats and private charters. Stalls and restaurants can be found at the pier, as well as parking for scooters and cars. The pier headquarters has lush gardens at greeting offering a tree- shaded seating area and clean bathroom facilities.
