Diver’s Inn opened its doors as the first German (deutsches) restaurant in Ao Nang in August 2000. Just a small place with 10 tables and 4 staff, the restaurant earned a reputation for quality Steaks, as well as European and Thai Food at reasonable prices.

Within 3 years we extended the restaurant to 22 tables with 9 staff cooking food and serving an increasing number of customers. The expiration of our rental contract in May 2006 forced us to move into a new building just a few steps away from McDonalds, directly opposite the Siam Commercial Bank / Ao Nang President Hotel. Most of our “old customers” still enjoy our food and even three of the first time staff are still working with us.

Diver´s Inn has earned a reputation for preparing tasty and juicy steaks as well as Thai and European food to our customers’ tastes, using only the finest and freshest ingredients that our restaurant has to offer. Even though we run the restaurant as a Steak House, our customers will find many different  Thai and seafood dishes cooked to their personal tastes.

If you like meat prepared European style, you have a choice between imported chilled Australian Angus Steaks, duck, pork and chicken with an excellent selection of side dishes and delicious sauces. Try our melt-in-the-mouth Australian Angus Tenderloin Surf & Turf Style (Steak with Tiger prawns), accompanied with a glass; or even bottle of red or white wine. Our wine selection caters wines from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Chile and  Argentina.

We also offer imported German Wheat Beer (Franziskaner and Weihenstephaner), German Schwarzbier (German Dark Beer), Belgian Cider and a selection of Belgian beers. After dinner, try our home made cakes or “The must have” Lava Cake, served with whipped and ice cream. Finally, we offer Gluten free desserts and decaffeinated coffee and we are able to prepare Gluten free sauces to accompany your food as well.
